Library Welcome

Do you and your child want to look for a favorite book in the school library while at home? Click [here] to search for a Monroe library book. You can even search by AR level. Mrs. Burnworth, our library technician, is always eager to show students and parents how to do a catalog search. We have books in English and Spanish.

Library Hours

All students visit the library weekly with their classroom teacher. The class visit schedule is posted in the library window. Students can come in individually during any time to check out books.

The library is additionally open for checking out library books & taking Accelerated Reader (AR) tests ½ hour before school; morning recess for 1st, 2nd, 5th, & 6th grades; and lunch recess for 3rd & 4th grades.
